Welcome to the web-site of « Chambres d’Hôtes de Charme » Les Tilleuls in the South of France.
We will be pleased to show you the house and the property.
Les Tilleuls is located 2 km away from Saint Georges de
Luzençon, a village with 1600 inhabitants, and 12 km away from
the city of Millau,
department Aveyron (12). The region is within easy reach through the
highway A75, la Méridienne, which connect Paris to
Clermond-Ferrand
and the South of France. The Mediterranean is only 120 km away,a one
hour drive on the A75 which is toll free between Clermond-Ferrand and
Pezenas.
Les Tilleuls is situated at the foot of the plateau Larzac, in the
« Parc Régional Naturel des Grands Causses », in
very calm and quiet surroundings, not disturbed by any noise. The area
is also known as the Green South, with pronounced seasons but under a
strong influence of the Mediterranean. Hot summers together with
beautifull spring and autumn days are inherent to the climate.
However in this area we do not yet have the disadvantages of the
coastal regions with their yearly vast influx of summer visitors.
Impressive landscapes – the immediate surroundings of Les
Tilleuls are 800 m high – with sheep farms and unspoiled air make
life here very pleasant.

Les Tilleuls is a centuries old but renovated character house, built with thick stone walls
which even during the hottest part of the summer keep the rooms gently refreshing. On the first floor of this house five
spacious and luxurious rooms have been arranged, each room with en-suite bathroom and toilet. All the rooms and bathrooms
have also central heating.
Next to the terrace stand a second house, La Maison de l’Arche,
of which so far only the groundfloor is used for breakfast room. This
house is partially constructed against the remnants of an old aquaduct,
which in turn continue across the swimming pool.
On the property there is furthermore a large hall, 20 m long en 8 m
wide, with stone vaults. This hall is available to put away bicycles
and motorcycles.
